Reading The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, which her boyfriend gave her to read--it's one of his favorite books and he reads it about once a year. She said she's enjoying it because she just started working at an art center that supports local artists and the dynamics in the book parallel the dynamics in her office. There are two camps of people--the Roarks, who are idealistic, and want the art space to be used for local artists, and the Keatings, who realize that in order to make money, the art spaces need to be rented out to commerical interests.
