Believe it or not,this reader actually did agree to have his picture taken. He's reading The Greatest Story Ever Sold, The Decline and Fall of Truth from 9/11 to Katrina, which is about, as he put it, "the loss of objective reality."

His favorite authors are David Sedaris, Tom Robbins, Mario Vargas Llosa, and Kurt Vonegut. Vonegut's Slaughterhouse-Five is, possibly, his favorite novel. He likes the nonsequential order of the book and how the story is told.
