Reading The Joy of Being Wrong, Original Sin through Easter Eyes, by James Allison. He began reading it as a result of an argument he had with some Christians. They said that God had sent Jesus because out of anger and a need to punish someone, whereas he belived that God sent Jesus as a means to reveal himself, and that God isn't about wrath and jealousy, but rather love.

He also noted that in mythology the victim is always guilty, as in society today, whereas in the Bible, the victim is always the hero. This is one of the reasons he became a Christian.

This book was inspired by Renee Girard, a French literary critic who examined relationships in literature in terms of rivalries.
