Reading House of Sand and Fog, by Andre Dubus III. She says it's hard to read because of the emotional tension that the author has built--it's very well written. She plans on seeing the movie, but wanted to make sure she read the book first.

Recently she read American Pastoral, by Philip Roth and Bringing Down the House:The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions, by Ben Mezrich.

Her favorite book is Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead.
