Reading City of Quartz, by Mike Davis. He just got it and was flipping through it to check it out.

His favorite book--Gravity's Rainbow, by Thomas Pynchon. What he likes about it is the complexity, which inspired his art--he illustrated it, page for page. Here's an interview about the project. Her favorites--The Decameron, by Giovanni Boccaccio and The Wall, a short story by Jean-Paul Sartre.
