I'd forgotten my camera (though *did* remember my Father's Day card to drop in the mailbox), but,

Amid the soggy faced passengers--I was no more alert--on the Bart train this morning, a woman in an Amoeba Records t-shirt and business attire, smiling with amusement while reading Homer's Odyssey.

When I got to my station, on the way out the door, I had to ask her why she was smiling. She thought for a moment, flipped back a page and gave me her answer. "A woman was sacrificing heifers to the gods," she said and then conceded, "I usually don't find that sort of violence comedic, but...." at 7:30 AM, your sense of humor is not always reliable.
