Reading Making PCR, A Story of Biotechnology, by Paul Rabinow, while waiting for her friends to arrive.

One of her favorite authors is Haruki Murakami. Of his books she especially likes The Windup Bird Chronicle and Norwegian Wood. She hasn't read everything he's written, but is going through them slowly, to savor them.
