Reading a book by Zen Guofan Neijing from a list of "sixty books to read in your life" that she got from the Excelsior Library. It was difficult for her to describe what the book was about because English is her second language and I don't speak Cantonese, but she explained that the book talked about internal and external Chinese fighting and the methods people used to fight each other, as well as economic and public policy in the Qing Chao period. She said that the book is teaching her how to face people, which is good for her because she works in a company where she has to meet and communicate with people.

She's lived in San Francisco for the past year-and-a-half and is trying to learn English by reading the newspaper and watching the news.
