At the best Indian buffet restaurant in San Francisco (on Kearny near Columbus), reading Never be Lied to Again, by David J. Lieberman. What is the secret? Body posture and silences.
He'd gone to the library to get a Repairman Jack book, by F. Paul Wilson that he'd heard about in Entertainment Weekly. Repairman Jack was out, but he found this instead.
His favorite book, if he had to name one--The Collected Work of Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and, within it Valley of Fear.
He writes screenplays in the horror/action genre, along the lines of Predator or The Fly, where there are moments of humor. Right now he's working on something with a werewolf.
