Her favorite book--Push, by Sapphire. It's really real. Hard core. about a young woman who is illiterate in the beginning of the story. She is raped by her father, gets pregnant twice and ends up with HIV from him, too. She goes to school and learns to read and writes good, but sad poetry.

Another favorite book--Lamb, by Christopher Moore. It's hella funny.

Her book would be about her life. She's had a hard life, but she's going places. Right now she's taking General Ed at City college and is going to transfer to San Jose State--not San Francisco State. She wants the weather and the sun.

A book that's changed her life? Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It was a gift from her mentor when she was going through a tough time in her life.
