Reading Persepolis, by Mariane Satrapi, a graphic novel about the author as a young girl at the time of the Islamic revolution. 
He said an animated movie is coming out in the same style as the comic on December 25th it premiers in LA and New York.

I've just finished reading both Persepolis 1 and 2 and it was fantastic! The movie is coming out this January here in Toronto.
