Reading If on a winters night a traveler, by Italo Calvino. It's a book about readers, to the reader about reading. Some friends were talking about Italo Calvino and, when he was in a bookstore, he decided to try him out. Check out this blog post. It's hilarious.

If he were to write his own book it'd be a metaphysical travel adventure, maybe one where clairvoyant people are wandering the world.

His favorite books? He tried to remember what he'd listed on Facebook... Crunched for time with the train arriving, he came up with one author--Vonnegut.

Recent favorites are Oliver Sacks' Musicophilia and John Horgan's Rational Mysticism, about the neuropsychology of music and spiritual experiences, respectively.
