Waiting for the 22 busReading Among the Thugs (among us passengers), by Bill Buford, which he took from someone at work who was taking too long to read it.
He's a fast reader and reads a lot. Authors he likes -- Haruki Murakami -- he just finished South of the Border, West of the Sun -- and Irvine Welsh, who wrote Trainspotting.
At this point of the interview, he abandoned us thugs and grabbed a taxi. Good choice -- the bus didn't come for another 10 minutes.

No, but I wait until my daughter goes to bed, and then I read her books.
