Reading Man of the House, The Life and Political Memoirs of Speaker Tip O'Neill, by Tip O'Neill with William Novak. He was given the book by a coworker (who plans on reading the book after him) and finished reading about the first sixty pages today. Recently he read Patricia Cornwell's Preadator, which he found disappointing because he felt as though she was recycling her characters and the plot was too formulaic. When I asked him how he liked her website, http://www.patriciacornwell.com/ (I checked it out on Sunday after interviewing another Preadator reader), he told me that he doesn't have a computer at home and doesn't have a cell phone either and, he admitted proudly, he likes it that way.
