Reading Pudor (Prudishness in English), by Santiago Roncagliolo, a Peruvian author who recently won the Spanish 2006 Alfaguara Prize. The reader was recently visiting Peru and it was recommended that he read him. His favorite book is La Ciudad de los Peros (the English title is The Time of the Hero), by another Peruvian author, Mario Vargas Llosa.
