Reading The Great Transformation, The Political and Economic Origins of Our Time, by Karl Polanyi. She said it was actually a fast, easy read. It's for her PhD.
Note: The dog was a really good study partner--the pic just makes her look antsy because the flash scared her. For over two hours she lay on the couch fawning over her owner, even licking her face when she sneezed!
