Reading Dragon Tears, by Dean Koontz, which he picked up at the airport for plane and beach reading, but then spent most of his time snorkeling and didn't read it.
He says the book is pretty good, that the ideas in it are different from Koontz's other books.

Dragon tears are probably a lot like crocodile tears, only bigger.
Or perhaps they're a lot like crocodile tears, only more imaginary.
