Yet another person who reads while walking down the street. He's currently passing by Garbo's, the only pet supply store I know of that doubles as a beauty salon.

Reading Robert Charles Wilson's Spin, which he bought for the Bart ride over from the East Bay. He came over with his family to check out the Asian Art Museum, but now that the rest of the party has gone shoe shopping he's found better things to do.

One of his favorite books--Neuromancer, by William Gibson. When I was home this summer and I asked my relatives to each give me their two favorite books, this was one of the ones my brother gave me. Apparently it's the first novel of its kind and spawned the whole cyberpunk genre. I haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but it's on my list.
