Reading Always Time to Die, by Elizabeth Lowell. When she picks up a book she's looking for something with a good story to read on the train. She goes through about a book a day and, as she breezes through them, wonders if maybe she should be reading more of the classics. Her favorite author for the commute is Dennis Lehane, who wrote Mystic River and a detective series that's the best she's ever read. She also likes Nora Roberts.

But, back to the classics. Her favorite book ever--To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.
