Reading The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, written by Howard Pyle and illustrated by, ironically, someone else--Lawrence Beall Smith. Howard Pyle was actually know first and foremost for his illustrations, and then for his stories...even though he did write Robin Hood. Check out this link.
