Reading The Million Dollar Putt, by Dan Gutman. She reads all the time...not just when walking down the street.

Something good she's read recently--Rules, by Cynthia Lord, which is told from the perspective of a twelve-year old girl about her brother who has autism. To help him out, and to keep from being embarrassed *herself*, she makes up rules for him, like, "when boys go swimming, they take off their shirts, but not their pants." It won the Newbery Honor medal and the Schneider Family Book Award and was named an ALA Notable Children's Book.
