Beneath a triptych by artist, David King that looks like this

Sitting on a red leather couch

next to her friend on his laptop,

reading Smart Exercise, by Covert Bailey. She borrowed it from her friend on the laptop.

What she's learned so far--when you do aerobic exercise you burn sugar and fat. When you do anaerobic exercise, you burn only sugar. She and her friend do Capoeira together. He, for 6 years, she, for 2 or 3.

Her favorite book of all time, that she read when she was fourteen, is Désirée, by Annemarie Selinko. It's the story of Napoleon's first fiancée. It's a "princess story." The last good book she read--Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini.

His favorite book that he's recently--Middle Passage, by Baraka (?). He likes it for the humorous style and was kept interested by the descriptive scenes. It felt like you were there. It's the story of a young man who doesn't know what he wants so he does everything to find himself. He leaves his slave master and goes on a boat and meets crazy characters. A cool story.
