Reading Why Moms are Weird, by Pamela Ribon. Anything you read, she says, you get something out of, and that's why we have the arts.

She suggested to, right away, visit the exhibit at the Moma, where the Matisse exhibit shows how painting and sculpture affect each other, and the animee exhibit at the Asian Art Museum.

Her favorite authors are James Lee Burke, Judith McNaught, and, from Berkeley, Michael Chabon, and his wife, Ayelet Waldon.
