Reading The Pilgrimage, by Paulo Coelho, which she said is good, but not as good as The Alchemist. She's also read, by Coelho, Veronika Decides to Die, which is different from his other books--not as spiritual. You can't really compare it, she said.
As she was getting on her train I asked her for her favorite author. She named David Sedaris, but then decided to go with James Thurber.
