November 29, Saturday afternoon -- Reading The New York Times

...I thought it was a book, but it wasn't--it was The New York Times.
At the Ferry Building, during a layover between Australia and Idaho.
It might have been a newspaper he was reading, but had, though, just finished reading the 1,000 page -- The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life, by Alice Schroeder. Another book he read on his kindle -- The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court, by Jeffrey Toobin. He likes being environmental....and, books that would cost him thirty bucks new, he can read for nine ninety-nine.

Favorite book -- Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72, by Hunter S. Thompson. His daughter's favorite book -- she joined us while we were talking -- Molly Moon, Mickey Minus and the Mind Machine, by Georgia Byng. (not available on the kindle....he checked)

Have you been reading anything good over the holiday weekend?
