In the Mission DistrictReading Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, by Anthony Bourdain. He's a busboy and dishwasher at the Universal Cafe down the street and one of the chefs loaned it to him.
His favorite book -- One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, by Ken Kesey. I asked him how many times he's read it -- sometimes people tell me they've read their favorite book five or six times -- and he said just once, that he usually reads books only once. However, on second thought, he said that an exception is Clockwork Orange, by Anthony Burgess. He read that several times. There was also a time when he read a lot of H.G. Wells and he read the Invisible Man a few times.

What a smart and handsome young man you chose for your Sunday blog!
I'm not sure about Anthony Bourdain. If he is that much of a pain in the ass in person, I can't imagine how he must write.
