August 14, 2012 Tuesday evening - Reading James B. Stewart

At the laundromat

Reading Den of Thieves by James B. Stewart.   It's about the stock market in the 1980s.  He picked it up because one of the characters in the movie Wall Street -- Gordon Gekko --is based on Ivan Boesky, an inside trader described in the book.

His favorite book is Freakonomics by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner.

the laundromat is one of the placest i read the most! these days laudromats have wi-fi connections and TV, but reading is still my favorite way of waiting for washers and dryers to be done, this book sounds interesting!
