On a sunny Saturday morning, next to the farmers market tents in the Fillmore district, reading Summer Sisters, by Judy Blume.
Her favorite book is The Bear and the Dragon by Tom Clancy. She said when she was a teenager she liked romance novels, like Silhouettes, but now she likes something she can sink her teeth into. She likes a good series with realistic characters.
Another favorite of hers is Shōgun, by James Clavell, which she read five times, every time understanding a little bit more.
