At a taqueria on Valencia Street 
Reading The Cheese Course: Enjoying the world's best cheeses at your table, by Janet Fletcher, with photographs byVictoria Pearson. She just purchased the book at a second hand store and is hanging out in the neighborhood before going to a class about cheeses at 18 Reasons. 
18 Reasons is just a few blocks away, on 18th Street, and it's, to quote their website, "a community food space to learn, think, do." She works at BiRite, so she gets to take classes there (for free or at a discount, I can't remember what she said.)
She loves reading cookbooks, as well as crime novels by J.D. Robb and Patricia Cornwell.
