On Fillmore Street
She is reading Professional Cooking, by Wayne Gisslen, for a city college class she's taking. Right now they're learning how to cook Chinese food, and the other day they made lamb meatballs and ground the meat with a meat grinder. When she graduates she wants to cook soul food.
