October 15, Tuesday night -- Reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez

I really don't spend all my time at Burger Joint....
Reading Of Love and Other Demons, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, from a friend's bookshelf.

A favorite book --Invisible Cities, a novel by Italo Calvino.

I am reading "The Elegance of the Hedgehog" in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is proving to be a thoughtful and witty discussion about social class and the human condition.

I like your map idea btw. Interesting.

I'm re-reading "Dead Until Dark" the first Sookie Stackhouse book. I read them all as they came out, but now, watching True Blood, I wanted to see how authentic they were being. (Answer: Thus far, not too bad.)

Waiting to be read are "Cycler," "Savvy," and "Just Say Nu."

I'm reading Stone Kiss by Faye Kellerman. It's around the 15th in a series about a detective and his wife. Love her books!

I'm reading Breakfast With Scot by Michael Downing because I saw the movie poster at the cinema. It's very witty and funny.

Love Italo Calvino, I just re-read If, On a Winter's Night A Traveler.

I'm reading Beloved by Toni Morrison. It's part of the Modern Classics reading challenge I'm doing. I've read Atonement and The Line of Beauty thus far. I still have to finish Beloved, A Thousand Acres, Practical Magic, The Poisonwood Bible, A Thousand Acres, Into Thin Air, The Watchmen, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Glass Castle, The Kite Runner, and A Prayer for Owen Meany before January 31, 2009. Lots to read...
